Pharrell Williams launches Qream

Z. Bailey, Pharrell Williams & Abesi Manyando of Abesi PR
If  there was ever a party to remember in the city of Saint Louis it would be Pharrell Williams’ launch of  Qream.  Pharrell  hosted an exquisite affair for his enticing new drink at the extravagant pink lit mansion on 3400 Russell.  An eclectic circle of invited guests had the opportunity to  indulge in the female inspired vodka-based drink which is available  in  frosty peach and strawberry.   ”I wanted to celebrate the power of the working woman who deserves to relax at the end of the day,” said Williams. ”I  wanted to encourage women to live deliciously and treat themselves royally.  I wanted to give  women a drink  they could enjoy without feeling fat,” he said.  Guests nibbled on exotic appetizers  and sipped the night away while listening to the sounds of Jermaine Dupri.   Pharrell’s Qream affair could have easily been pulled out of the pages of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, The Great Gatsby.  The setting resembeled the level of opulance displayed in  the novel  that chronicled a summer in the roaring 20′s when  prohibition made millionaires out of hustlers and excessive partying was the social norm.  An ambiance of  fun and diversity ruled at the ostentatious Magic Chef mansion where guests didn’t preoccupy themselves  with culture, race or class distinctions. This is a testament to Williams influence in both music and society.  The highly requested producer, artist and songwriter has always infused a mixture of genres and cultures within his artistry helping change the dynamics of stereotypical social boundaries while elevating “hip rock” culture. Williams’ Qream affair captivated an audience that normally would not socialize together.  Qream is another addition to Williams multi-faceted empire that includes an established production company, the clothing company  Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream.  Williams has also contributed his gifts to Louis Vuitton designing a special collection for the fashion giant.
